About Us

We are a community group of heritage filmmakers.

Tell Them of Us is our latest film, we previously made The lady of Shalott and Luttrell Psalter films. We specialise in dramatising stories about Lincolnshire’s history and heritage. We are a non-profit making organisation with a strong community ethic. We were founded in 2006 and are Lincolnshire based. We have a constitution and a committee.

WAG Screen’s AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

a) To increase access to Lincolnshire’s history and archaeology through our web sites, photography and films.

b) To promote the heritage of Lincolnshire, for example through a film of the Luttrell Psalter, to a wider audience.

c) To create opportunities for people and organizations, in Lincolnshire and the East Midlands, to increase their skills and creativity, and to encourage talent and raise standards.

d) To be inclusive and to create opportunities, especially for young people, to experience work in front or behind the camera.

e) To continue to develop the web site, and related social media, of WAG Screen and to make available photographs and short films (where possible).

f) To make available filmed footage and photographs for Lincolnshire conferences, museums and schools where appropriate.

g) To provide Members with information regarding methods, equipment and other matters relevant media production where possible.

h) To promote contacts with other bodies engaged in heritage work, and ancillary social and other events for the benefit of the Members.
